Meet Adler Nicole
Hey there, lovely souls! I'm Adler Nicole, your go to gal for capturing precious family moments through the lens. I was born and raised in breathtaking Anchorage, Alaska. My family and heart is from Pampanga, Philippines. I am a proud Fil-Am. I understand Tagalog and Kapampangan (but I can’t speak! lol!). I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in justice and a minor in social work. After gaining experience in education, I discovered my passion for guiding students and decided to pursue a career as a school counselor.
Beyond the lens, I juggle the hats of a wife, a mama, a dog lover, and a compassionate school counselor. I am a believer, and I love Jesus. I am a helper, I love community, and I am passionate about advocating students. I love iced coffee, ube flavors, matcha lattes, and pho. Noodles are my soul food, so anything noodles for me please! To keep my spirits high, I dance to the rhythm of indoor cycling, often waking up to a 5:30 am class (how do I do this? I have no clue!).
As for music, my playlist is a mix of Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift to SZA. I’m currently listening to PinkPantheress. In the midst of everything, I adore spending quality time with my darling baby girl and loving husband. Whether it's our cozy family dinners, giggly Bluey marathons, or sweet strolls together, these moments fill my heart with pure happiness. They're the anchors in my life, keeping me grounded and inspired as I navigate my path as a school counselor and business owner.
How it started
My photography journey began with an incredible gift from my parents on my 18th birthday – a Canon Rebel XS. Growing up, my dad was our family's go-to photographer, always ready to capture those special moments with his trusty camera. I admired him so much and wanted to help him preserve our family's memories. He taught me that it's not about perfection; it's about capturing the essence of the moment.
When my parents surprised me with my very own Canon, it felt like they were giving me a way to share my passion with others. I knew I wanted to spread the joy of freezing moments in time for everyone to cherish.
As time went on, I upgraded my gear and decided to turn my passion into a business, focusing on capturing the love and connection within families. While I also photograph engagements, couples, branding, and senior photography, my heart truly sings when I'm capturing the magic of family bonds and the beauty of motherhood. As a photographer, I love telling stories through my lens and have a knack for bringing out genuine smiles, even from the littlest ones!
I firmly believe that every moment, no matter how small, deserves to be celebrated – whether it's the excitement of a high school graduation, the joy of welcoming a newborn into the world, or simply a cozy Sunday spent cuddled up with loved ones. Through my photography, I aim to capture these moments, preserving them in all their beauty for years to come.
